The NPTA has been given an incredible opportunity to display the value of our profession at an upcoming high profile event here in Las Vegas. 

We have partnered with the American Heart and Stroke Associations to support the participants of the Miracle Mile of the Las Vegas Marathon.
WE NEED YOU!

We need at least 30 volunteers to walk the last mile of The Zappos.com Las Vegas Marathon 2007 on Sunday, December 2, 2007 with individuals who have had a stroke or with individuals who have other disabilities. 

Can You Help With This Special Project?  If so, please contact our two Public Relations Committee Co-Chairs:  Suzanne Steffen at Suzanne_steffen@yahoo.com or Tarah Badger at nvrebelpt@aol.com.   Volunteers will receive free T-shirts!

Again, we'll need at least 30 members.  Please email Suzanne or Tarah if you can join us.  It will be a terrific service project and fun for us and the walkers as well.  See you there!

When: Sunday, December 2, 2007; 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Where: Luxor Parking Garage:  In front of Mandalay Bay take Mandalay Bay Road, take first right which is Luxor Drive, parking garage entrance is at the end of Luxor Drive, and directly behind the Luxor.
Check-in: 9:30 AM
Free Food and Celebration: for all Walkers immediately following the Walk at the Finish Line, Power To End Stroke Tent, Mandalay Parking Lot
