Chapter Business
Several Members Take On New Positions on our Board
At the NPTA Annual Business Meeting held in Reno in October the following members were elected to Executive Committee positions:
- Vice President – Parley Anderson
For the past four years, Parley has been serving our Chapter as a delegate to the APTA’s House of Delegates. He was the Chief Delegate for Nevada in 2007 and will be again in 2008. His experience as a delegate, attending APTA Government Affairs workshops, and on the Chapter’s Government Affairs Committee has been critical to our Chapter. He is presently Co-Chair of the Chapter’s Government Affairs Committee. Parley is a member of a group private practice in the Northern District. He is the manager of SOAR Physical Therapy in Fernley, NV. Thank you, Parley!
- Treasurer – Jeff Hill
Jeff began his second term as Treasurer in October. Jeff is a partner and Chief Operating Officer for Kelly Hawkins Physical Therapy in Las Vegas. He has been with Kelly Hawkins Physical Therapy since 1989. Jeff’s knowledge and experience in budgeting have helped the Executive Committee, our Executive Director, and the Board of Directors to understand our accounts, to more effectively plan for the cost of Chapter activities, and to balance our income and expenses for the past 3 years. This information allows us to make thoughtful and critical choices in managing the Chapter’s accounts. Thank you, Jeff!
